We are a collaborative working together to empower domestic and sexual violence survivors.
Since 2009, our collaborative of six organizations in the Greater Richmond region has provided comprehensive crisis support and recovery services for survivors to transform their lives.
Our Mission
The mission of EmpowerNet is to serve those impacted by sexual and domestic violence through regionally-based collaborative efforts in Greater Richmond.
Our vision is for communities to have access to a robust regional system of resources so that all may lead safe and empowered lives.
EmpowerNet partners facilitate ongoing collaboration between organizations, sponsor innovative regionally-based programming to meet client needs, and ensure high-quality care for all individuals affected by sexual and domestic violence in the region.
Our core values guide our behavior, decisions, and interactions. We believe that these fundamental principles form the basis of our work in the community, and with one another.
Inclusion, Respect, Dignity, Integrity, Accountability, Compassion, Trust, Self Determination, and Empowerment
We are firmly committed to collaboration and partnership with all members of the community to empower survivors and all those impacted by interpersonal violence to take the next steps towards establishing a life filled with meaning, vitality and hope. We deliver trauma-informed, client-centered services with compassion and authenticity.
